Mira and her neighbors used art to transform their neighborhood.

Read. Imagine.

Based on a true story, yes you read it correct; this amazing story is based on a true story. Have you ever been to the Urban Art Trail in San Diego, California? Well, here is the story behind it! Art inspires a neighborhood transformation like you wouldn't imagine. Read all about it!

Paint. Create.

Watercolors and chalk pastels are going to be your best friend after your little learners explore the best of both worlds. I use watercolor paper (I love watercolor paper), to create a simple house stencil. I gave the little splashers chalk pastels first to draw the details for their houses. After they completed that task. they were allowed to paint. I must say they out did themselves.
